A Pearl of Success

As we leave Tahiti today, we met great people, experienced the Tahitian blue waters, and learned about Tahitian pearls. Specifically, we learned the time and effort it takes to make a perfect pearl. After all that work and effort, sometimes it just doesn’t work. But, you do not give up and you try again. Success, like a perfect pearl, takes patience, experience, knowledge, and time. And, when the pearl does not form correctly, you try again until you get it right. A nice metaphor to leave French Polynesia with today ….

Thanks to Lonely Planet author Celeste Brash and her family pearl farm for the photo as well as the information that served as our guide around this beautiful part of the world.
